BLOC presents WICKED

Wicked, one of the most popular musicals of our time, will be presented by Ballarat’s award winning community theatre company, BLOC Music Theatre, at, Her Majesty’s Theatre in May 2017. “Wicked” tells the story of a friendship that develops between two women and how they became the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good. Sometimes funny and at other times dramatic and moving, Wicked takes audiences on a spellbinding journey into a world of intrigue and surprises for all is not always as it seems in the world of Oz.

The Wizard may not be as wonderful as he would have us think, the good may not be so perfect. BLOC has put together an outstanding team to deliver its production of Wicked. Under the direction of David Hollywood with Musical Direction by Gareth Grainger and, Choral Direction by Gareth Grainger and Maxine Montgomery, Set Design by Damian Muller, Costume Design by Melanie Buckingham and Choreography by Erica Chestnut, Wicked promises to be a truly spectacular event bringing together some of Ballarat’s leading creative and performing artists in 2017.
