Ercildoune Homestead Garden
973 Ercildoune Road, Ercildoune
This grand old homestead and lovely garden, which is a shrine to life in the 1840s, was once home to internationally acclaimed soprano Dame Nellie Melba.
Ercildoune was settled by Scottishborn brothers Thomas and Somerville Learmonth in 1838 and has been lovingly and painstakingly restored to its former glory by the current owners.
This is a rare chance to peer in the windows of this incredible homestead and wander the expansive gardens.
