Ballarat Town Hall and Ballarat Carillon

Eight of the country's best bell ringers will mark the Ballarat Heritage Weekend with a special three hour peal from 10.30am on Saturday 10 May at the Town Hall. The peal, which is an extremely rare event, has been organised especially to celebrate the Ballarat Heritage Weekend.

While you’re there, wander through the Town Hall, which dates back to 1859. Learn about the history of this majestic building and discover its hidden secrets. Marvel at the beauty of the carillon, or chime, which stands at the back of the Town Hall.
