The Ballarat & District Genealogical Society, locally known as the Ballarat Genies, celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2008. The Society’s purpose is to help family historians undertake research by providing books, magazines, databases, indexes, advice and assistance.

During the Ballarat Heritage Weekend experienced researchers will be on hand at the Mining Exchange to assist you research your family history.
